I guess Haiti, in some way, is a bit of a sad commentary on the world, or the way of the world, or the equality of the world in a tragic way. Right now, they are - due to terrible circumstances - in the lense or spotlight of the world. Before this, things were dire there, yet few cared. But now everyone is concerned. Hopefully the worlds focus won't shift too quickly and Haiti can emerge as better than before from this catastrophy!
I wonder how many other places in the world could use a global boost? I wonder if the answer would be frightening?
I hope such disaster never stirkes where I, or my loved ones are. I really do hope for the best for the survivors in Haiti.

Such a poor country to begin with, and now this.
A simple, but heartfelt prayer, Petra. David :)
It could happen anywhere, anytime, couldn't it, David?!
Unfortunately. David :)
This is lovely, Petra!
I still can't get Book Rix to let me comment, though.
They say there is a faultline around Tennessee also .. The pain and suffering is hard to picture as New Orleans in Katrina was difficult..
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, MZ! Thank you! :))
You're so right, Sandy! Some areas are more susceptible. Yet, the plates are shifting constantly so it really can happen anywhere at any time.
I cannot even imagine how the victims of natural disasters are coping, Sandy! In such cases, thank God for the web for the instant support!
