Earth Hour 2016 in Pictures - We allowed Mother Earth to breathe for at least one hour in one year, we can do better!

Major landmarks, businesses, and communities all over the world turned their lights off for one hour at 8:30 p.m., yesterday, Saturday, March 19th to raise awareness about climate change and show support for renewable energy.

Happy Spring, Petra! I don't know how it is today where you live, but we got hit with a nor'easter last night, so it's been VERY cold with some snow flurries. I'm not complaining though because you know me....I love the cold - ha!

Gorgeous photographs from around the world honoring Earth Hour. I scrolled through your photo selection and looked at each one very carefully. They are all so beautiful!

Oh, and loved the videos you selected as well. Especially the one by Marvin Gaye, love that song!
