Happy Friday my beautiful friend! Thanks for the garage sale tips this week on my post - we are ready for the weekend now.
The bird thing is all over the news here because its nearby in San Francisco. It's funny to see all the bystanders watching but the people who get attacked are clueless to the crowd of people. ha ha
Today is the last day of school and I'm as excited as the kids. ha ha Have a great weekend!
ML's: Me thinks, being very frugal. You hear these stories of those who have survived the Depression and/or the Holocaust and they become obsessed with saving every nickel, just in case! I hope they find it!
Janeen: Oh I hope you have a wonderful time and turn up with some gems! This story reminds me of how everyone feels (and rightfully so) the need to be careful with bedding or sofas at a garage sale. Can you imagine finding $1M dollars in something you paid $10 for? You never know?
Come to think of it, Janeen, I didn't know where the bird incident was taking place. It is fascinating to watch the bird protect its nest so vehemently!
Have fun! :))
hahaha, MZ! Which part? Having Baby Puppy throwing out your mattress you've been using as a piggy bank; giving away paintings found at a garage sale later to be found worth thousands of dollars; or being attacked by obsessed birds; or all of the above! ;)
Ha! All very good, but I'm a little irritated that the news item about the paintings didn't actually tell us what they were! They look a bit like Canalettos, only without the luminosity.
Hi again, I can't remember if I told you this already but... we loved the Young at Heart movie! My Man even got a little teary eyed.
Last Sunday, we visited my Mo-in-Law to visit and have lunch with her as she is recoverying from bunion surgery on both feet and watched it again with her and she completely wet through a hanky from tears~ just precious! She is telling all her friends about it now. I checked out their website but the closest they will be coming on their summer tour to us this summer is Denver. Too far for us to travel... unless a windfall of money comes our way. Hmmm, perhaps we'll find a money filled mattress and get a reward from it. ha ha

I hope she finds it. K.
There are guards surrounding the area so that no one tries to steal it! Can you imagine the mother's horror!
I wonder how she got that amount of money?

That totally sounds like something that could happen to me!

Wow Jay! I wouldn't have dared to venture a guess! Don't have a clue! But they should have, I agree with you! :))

Isn't it the sweetest and heartfelt documentary, Janeen? I'm so glad your family enjoyed it!
Ouch! I hope your mother-in-law is feeling better! It's got to be difficult for her to get around!
You never know what you might find? ;)
Hoping you're having a wonderful weekend, gorgeous! :))
