hahaha, MZ! It took a recession for us city folks to get it! ;)
Believe me, G-man, I'm definitely considering it! My main problem is time. But it would be great to start a community garden which I've been thinking about!
Reminds me a bit of the 'Dig for Victory' campaign during WWII in England. Suddenly, everyone was growing veg where their back lawns used to be! Almost nobody in my generation didn't have grandparents who knew their way around a vegetable plot!

We rednecks never stopped gardening!

Nothing like gardening-and eating that fresh produce you helped make : )
If I didn't work full time I would give it a try! Hope you are having a great day.
