All aboard the Orient Express! Our Conductress and Hostess, MuseSwings, will guide us to blogs who will offer the finest cuisine, breathtaking excursions, and titillating entertainment, in addition to historic information topped with mystery and high adventure!

Since traveling by train is my preferred choice of transport, I can only imagine the excitement on the Orient Express. A relaxing way to enjoy the lush landscapes and striking up conversations with fascinating travelers from the most unexpected places.

Two may start as strangers and end as life-long friends. But beware. Not all are what they seem, as seen below! Enjoy your day on the Orient Express!

I've never traveled by train. Aidan would love to though because he loves trains.

Brilliant! I love the train theme. Nice train of thought. Yes...beware of Marie - we have figured out how she manages to live in luxury in France. Bring your bag of bribe buckaroos!

I love to travel by train and would love it more if I could watch these films while on board.

The gentlemen from "The Great Train Robbery" looks exactly like the man in the card room I heard them call James. What a mystery!

Ooh, Petra! A Hugh Grant film I've not seen! I know the cover, but never viewed it - thanks for the reminder.
I have seen all the others though. "The Great Train Robbery" is brilliant, isn't it?
Of course, you can't beat North by Northwest - the train scenes get forgotten in favour of the crop-duster and Rushmore.

Oh Dahling, I love a good movie! Won't you join us later in my private car for afternoon tea? I'd love to chat with you about your latest scrip~ perhaps there is a need for a new star to light up the screen!

Plus I want to show you the new green emerald jewelry that fell into my lap!

Thanks so much for these suggestions! I love train movies! North by Northwest is one of my all time favourite movies ever. THose were the days....bad guys were suave, smooth, elegant....not just thugs.

Speaking of thugs, there are a couple of suspicious characters on our Express route...hmmm....I must go and consult with Poirot...

Catch you later and stay safe!

Tammy: They are the most relaxing
and the best way to enjoy the view!
Don't have to worry about driving to your holiday destination. Just
sit back and let the conductor do the driving! :))

Marie: Lucky I remembered to get mine! I don't want to miss Paris!

Muse: Bribe buckaroos! I'll just have to remind her that cheap is the fashionably chic trend right now!

Bibi: We'll all gather round after dinner and watch together. Kat added a few as well!

Melody: Yes, is the man I've been consorting with, Ian Fleming, the real James Bond? Tis truly a mystery!

Poetikat: I know I've missed a few of my favorites, but lack of time.

Janeen: Would love to! :))

Lavinia: So I noticed. We'll have Mssr. Poirot investigate! We don't want our belongings tampered with. But Ian Fleming is safeguarding our compartments!

I'm booking my next trip, after I get to Istanbul..I hope that Cary is on that one..and that I'm Eva Marie!!

I suspect everyone and I suspect no one. Musey is dusting for fingerprints and Steviewren is pretending to take another nap. Funny how she sleepwalks her way to the train vault every time she dozes. Also funny how something goes missing when she's allegedly zzzzzz'ing too.

pixlhead: There's just something about relaxing while taking in the view at a nice and easy pace.

A very sweet thing to say. I just love my home away from home and am so excited to have found such a talent to express it so beautifully! :))

Linda: hahaha, she is, is she? I've had to disappear for awhile.
Not teling with whom! ;) So you'll have to update me on everything else!

Lyn: You and I share the same fantasy! Have always loved North by Northwest!

Lavinia: hahaha! Very wise of you. Seems you and Mssr. Poirot will get along famously. Stevie, eh? We shall see! ;)

Oh Petra Dahing... I did, I did get locked in my cabin and I couldn't call out either. My poor WI-FI has just about had it today but there's still enough juice for 1 last drink at the lounge, I'm buying drinks for everyone, come along Dahling!

Petramichelle, I think I will join you in the entertainment compartment for a nightcap and a film. Sounds as good a way as any to round out this marvellous adventure!

Janeen: So glad you're all right! I was truly worried! Mssr. Poirot hasn't solved the murder yet!

Lavinia: A brilliant idea! :))
