My Gulf Oil Spill Blues

This can't be happening!

Let it be.
Just be.

While wildlife dies.
Life dies.

Don't ask why.
Alternatives to oil?

Let it be.
Not while there's a breath in my body.

I can't even think about it, it's too huge a disaster. I hope they manage to contain it soon. :(

I just can't imagine the extent of this catastrophe, MZ! :((

It makes me both sad and angry, K.!

They've just lowered that tower and they're not even sure it'll work, Jay! This is their only option? Very grave. :((

Yes, it's going to hurt everyone, Sandy! Not only the south, everyone! :((

No, I haven't but I love Sally Field. I'll look for it. Thank you for the suggestion! :))

Would have loved to have attended, Janeen! Seemed wonderful! :))

Yep, Janeen! It's unfathomable! :))

I wish they could figure out how to stop it-I just saw their latest attempt failed.

I wonder what the written cost of the cleanup will be, after the engineering feat of stopping the flow is accomplished. I wonder what the real cost will be.

I could blame BP, and I think it's right if they pay for the cleanup, yet as an oil user, I must acknowledge my own guilt...

Hi Tipper! Yes, I've heard, and now BP is paying locals to help with the clean-up with llama hair!
Good God! With all the billions BP makes, they could have invested a mere $500,000 to $1,000,000 which is a drop in the bucket for them to install a cap which would have prevented the spill -- a lesson learned from the Exxon Valdeze spill! Indespicable!

Hi PV! I understand what you mean as you are an oil user. But because they have us codependent. They seek no other alternatives because they're making a fortune!

I'm so darn angry at their sheer negligence and uncaring!
