Based on master science-fiction writer Phillip K. Dick's, The Adjustment Team, with his usual theme of metaphysics parallel to reality, is captured wonderfully by writer, director George Nolfi.
Synopsis: A congressman (Matt Damon) who's a rising star on the political scene finds himself entranced by a beautiful ballerina (Emily Blunt), but mysterious circumstances ensure that their love affair is predestined to be a non-starter. Screenwriter George Nolfi (The Bourne Ultimatum) makes his directorial debut with this romantic adaptation of Phillip K. Dick's classic sci-fi short story "Adjustment Team."

Am so happy that you've been ok. What a sad, sad situation in the burroughs and the Jersey shore. :(
I've been one of the fortunate ones. Have been going to the shore since a child, and towns like Belmar that have been washed away breaks my heart. And the devastation all along the shore, plus friends of mine in the NYC boroughs have lost their homes or the flooding have been irreparable.
K. I'm so lucky compared to the thousands who are still without heat, hot water, and electricity.
Thankfully, because both of my parents have dementia, don't realize the extent of the devastation. They live in their own worlds...
Luckily, my family and loved ones are safe...many friends suffering...
