SUNDAY IS FOR POETRY: I Wanted A Perfect Ending

I wanted a perfect ending.

Now I've learned the hard way that some poems don't rhyme,

and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, nor end.

Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment

and making the most of it, without knowing what's to happen next.

Life sure is far from perfect, isn't it? And what it will hand you. The moment is all that we really have, isn't it?

Lovely Petra!

Amen, Petra! You are spot on about that! And I think the challenges in our lives are not due to the challenges themselves, but rather the challenge of resisting what is present and making the most of it. I don't think life is about moving in one clear direction, it's about taking the detours without knowing where they're taking us. Life is all about change and going with it.

Personally, I've leaned that I don't have control over my life. However, I do have control over how I experience it by living in the moment.

Fabulous post, my friend! And I loved the video clip. I love the quality and tone of her voice.

Hi Ron!

Wholeheartedly agree as we've shared many times. Isn't it amazing how once we get it, it remains forever.

Thank you, my friend. :))

I came here from Ronnies blog and I want to tell you how much I love the quote and also the song you paired with it. Sometimes it is hard to remember that even the things we dont plan end up beautiful in the end.

Hello Cestlavie, Thank you for stopping by.

You're absolutely right. It's only been recently that I've come to believe with the core of my being that everything will be all right, and at best, peace of mind and joy.

Thank you for sharing a reflective moment. And it was very nice meeting you. :))
