SUNDAY IS FOR POETRY: For Peace

For peace,

should we,

the citizens of the world,

demand our Heads of State,

meditate?

LOL, ML's! I wonder how different the world would be if they chilled, rather than worried about their millions!

Maybe it's time to change the electoral system. Cap what a canditate can spend. Make it so not only the rich and very connected can play that game, but instead every average joe.

Connected...explains the bail-outs to the other ultra rich, doesn't it?

There's a lot of very honest average Joes out there who'd get my vote.

I'd bet they'd even bring a conscience and meditate for peace

Now there's an idea! It might make them think a little more, huh? LOL!

Wholeheartedly agree, PV! The cap idea isn't novel, and has been tried, but the status quo want to leave it as is, because, of course, it's in their favor!

LOL PV, they're so connected, their
infrastructure needs no constitution. That's the scary part! They make up the rules as they go along!

No pun intended, eh, Jay! LOL
