John Hughes Jr. (February 18, 1950-August 6, 2009)

In addition to John Hughes Jr's famous 80's teen comedies such as Sixteen Candles; The Breakfast Club; Pretty in Pink; Weird Science; and Ferris Bueller's Day Off; he wrote National Lampoon's Vacation; Planes, Trains, and
Automobiles; Uncle Buck; and Home Alone; among many others.

Love that film, K.! And perfect characters for its quirkiness! He had a knack for character study!
