Curious about the voice behind the name?

Am sure that all of us have wondered what the person behind the blog sounds like.
I've had the fun and honor of hearing four of my blog friends' voices. I've been asked to be interviewed on the site which I've entered my short story contest. I am forever indebted to you for reading and voting for "Rollerblading on the Rings of Saturn."

Now, for your entertainment, the voice behind the name of petra michelle.

Please pause playlist at bottom of page to hear interview.

Congratulations Petra! That was so cool! You have such a sweet voice to go along with your sweet personality. I know you are going to make it big as a screen writer and when that happens I'll be able to say my friend wrote that movie.

You were in an automobile accident?
That's when you started writing? K.

Yes, K.! I worked in management all of my adult life, even owned a couple of businesses until I had the acccident. I started writing cathartically but it became a passion which I pursued professionally. And here I am! :))

Wow! What a treat to hear your voice. What a great honor that they picked you when you have only been on for a short while. Great job on the interview and I'm so happy your writing is getting noticed.

Thank so very much, ML's! When he invited me for the interview, considering I'd just been around for a month and 1/2, I was blown out of the water! It was totally unexpected! So appreciate it, ML's! :))

I enjoyed listening to you interview Petra. I can't wait to have one of your screen plays turned into a big production movie.

I am very happy for you and again congratulations!

OH MY STARS! That was soooo much F-U-N! Okay, I know you haven't slept in probably 4 days... at least not through the night. ha ha Wow, wow, wow!

First, your voice was not at all what I imagined.. lol.. I imagined more of an THICK accent but you could be from California, we are a melting pot over here now. You could do voice-over work on Audio CD's! So smoooooth, no accent at all, I just lurve it! I giggled when I heard you get a bit nervous at one part and then you quickly recovered.

Second, the big Arnold! ha ha That was cute and I could certainly appreciate it with him being the Gov of my state.

Third, great advice to aspiring other writers. Get the training and accept constructive feedback. Excellent!

Finally, it was great to hear him express to all the listeners to read your short story! I lurve when technology works this way and this is such a great vessel for sharing things like this.

Congratulations my beautiful friend! I look forward to many more interviews in the NEAR future too.

Blessings!
Janeen

Vielen, vielen dank, Enzie! :))

Your energy is so contagious, Janeen! If it weren't for you, I may not be wearing stilettos anymore, at all! ;)

hahaha, Janeen, Arnold was cooler when he did Conan, etc. What happened?

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Janeen! :))

Good for you, Petra! I am totally with you on the honesty that is conveyed through poetry. I think your work is just that—honest and heart-filled and real.
I enjoyed hearing your voice and putting a voice to the writing and the comments.
I hope you realize your dream of producing a screenplay or play (the sound on my laptop wasn't too good, so I wasn't sure what you said in response to that question).

It's good to have a platform like Bookrix available so we can get our work out there more readily.

All the best!

Kat

Thank you so very much, Kat! I think the audio wasn't that good on my end since I had been brand new to Skype on which the interview was conducted!

Isn't it nice to hear the voice behind the name? Thanks again, Kat! :))

Am so glad that the interview offered something for fellow writers, Tipper! And I still say your voice is special. Perhaps because of the special lady behind the voice! Thank you, Tipper! :))
