I have yet to visit New York, even before 9/11. Now, I'm going to make it a point to. K.

Believe it or not, K., I have not been there since the day the towers went down. When I watched them go down, I was so traumatized, although I've visited friends who lived in the area afterwards.

So many from New Jersey lost their lives, people I knew and friends or family of friends. Actually, more from New Jersey died than from anywhere else.

But now I really do want to go. I suppose, as with anything else, healing takes time.
